Consigned items remain your property until sold
Every one of us complains about lack of closet space. When you look closely, though, you’ll likely agree with our 40-30-20-10 rule: We only wear and feel good in about 40% of our current wardrobe. 10% probably belongs in a donation bin. 20% is holiday and special occasion wear.
The remaining 30% is excellent clothing that you never use. Impulse buys, items that don’t fit or will never fit again... these are the pieces that can find a new life on New2Me.ca. We are very interested in featuring your fine clothes and accessories on our site and paying you 50% of the selling price.
This consignment model is a proven method for generating cash for your unused items. We do all the marketing and administrative work; you get extra space in your closet.
Click here to email us a description of your items, attaching a photo if possible. Be sure to provide your return email address as well as a phone number. One of our Merchandisers will contact you to review your items and discuss pricing and terms.
All items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned, and be in good condition.
Upon acceptance of an item by New2Me and completion of a consignment agreement, your item will be featured on our website. Our marketing efforts work for you and usually generate a faster sale without the hassle.
We also look for opportunities to participate in retail markets to help promote our merchandise.
When your item is sold, and the buyer's funds have cleared, you will receive 50% of the selling price and the proceeds will be paid to you within 3 weeks.
After 60 days, all items are reduced by 15%. If not sold within the next 60 days, they will be further reduced by 10%. After 30 additional days, another 10% discount is applied. Any item that is unsold after 180 days on the site will be removed.
If your item is not sold after 180 days, you will be contacted to discuss disposition. You will have the option to pay for shipping to have the item delivered back to you; to arrange for its pick-up within 15 days or to give the item to New2Me. At the discretion of the site, unsold items can be re-posted at a later date, donated to charity or otherwise disposed.
Consigned items remain your property until sold or given to New2Me. You may take them back at any time within the 180-day posting, but a handling fee and return shipping costs will apply if removed before 60 days. These amounts must be paid prior to the release of an item.
New2Me is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items.
